А сегодня возьмем одну серию знаменитого сериала Sex and the City, а именно The Freak Show (Season 2 Episode 3), и послушаем, на каком языке на самом деле разговаривают люди!

Скажу, что я не большой фанат перевода и всяких там переводных методик, но при этом понимаю, что кому-то нужна палочка-выручалочка родного языка. Или уровень пока не позволяет. ‘Over’ часто используется во фразах вроде ‘over here’, ‘over there’ и на смысл особо не влияет. Просто так уж исторически сложилось. Или не сложилось, а просто нравится им так говорить))

При переводе на русский out there обычно пропадает. Это одна из тех фраз, которые постоянно звучат в английском, но которым нет полноценного употребимого аналога в русском. Или есть?

freak

= strange person


Перевод:

А вот как перевести rigged up, я даже и не знаю)) Точнее, не уверена. Моя версия:

Rig up = состряпать. Как думаете? Подойдет?

= Мужчины – ненормальные / уроды / психи.
