В этом уроке разберем распространенные английские словосочетания с глаголами и увеличим словарный запас на целых 66 выражений! 

Конечно, глаголов и выражений с ними - вагон и маленькая тележка огромное множество, никакого урока не хватит. Поэтому для начала возьмем 22 глагола и сделаем 3 словосочетания  с каждым из них. Почему именно словосочетания с глаголами?

Я не устану повторять, что нет большого смысла заучивать слова по отдельности. В отрыве от контекста и словосочетаний речь представляет собой набор слов из серии "Ходить магазин купить еда ужин". Не уподобляйтесь, пожалуйста))

Мы говорим не словами, а словосочетаниями. Если взять 22 глагола и просто выучить их, словарный запас пополнится 22 разрозненными и вырванными из контекста словами.

А если к каждому из них подобрать частые словосочетания с глаголами - хотя бы по три штуки - словарный запас пополнится 66 новыми выражениями, готовыми к употреблению. Больше того, такой подход (называется лексический подход) дает понимание языка: как он живет, как функционирует, по каким принципам строить новые словосочетания в английском языке.

Английские словосочетания с глаголами

Полистайте слайдшоу, посмотрите на распространенные английские словосочетания с глаголами:


Вы, наверное, обращали внимание, что в словарях и учебниках английские словосочетания с глаголами обычно даются в таком формате:

  • give somebody a compliment
  • forget one's name
  • talk to one's boss
  • help somebody (to) do something

И хотя такие формулировки вполне обоснованны, они практически бесполезны для изучающих английский. Поэтому мы здесь и попытались уйти от таких абстрактных somebody и one's, заменив их на:

  • give her a compliment
  • forget her name
  • talk to my boss
  • help me do this

Вернемся к нашим фразам. Эти английские словосочетания с глаголами можно представить и по-другому, в виде word webs:

Упражнение 4 Phrases in context

А теперь давайте применим новые английские словосочетания с глаголами в более осмысленных контекстах)) Впишите фразу в предложение. Кое-где нужно будет ее поменять, например:

  • поставить в другое время (прошедшее, будущее, настоящее)
  • добавить –ing или to
Тут, конечно, желателен уровень не ниже Pre-Intermediate, потому что кое-какие из этих форм не проходят на совсем начальных уровнях. Подробнее о том, что проходят на разных уровнях.
