Так начинается анекдот и фильм Analyze This.

А давайте посмотрим отрывок из фильма на английском Analyze This? И выясним, что же все-таки произойдет, если босс мафии придет на прием к психотерапевту.

Заодно потренируемся:

  • понимать английскую речь на слух 
  • узнаем новые разговорные слова и выражения
  • отличать грамотную речь от неграмотной и от разговорной

И просто получим удовольствие от игры незабвенных Роберта Де Ниро и Билли Кристала))


Main ideas

Начнем, как всегда, с основного содержания. Посмотрите отрывок из фильма Analyze This и ответьте на вопросы. Пока не нужно пытаться понять каждое слово. И тем более не надо переживать, если не все будет понятно. Просто разберитесь, что вообще происходит.

Grammar

Вы уже, наверное, заметили, что речь мафиози отличается от речи психотерапевта. Чем же?

Во-первых, она более разговорная, со всеми пропусками, свойственными разговорной речи, например:

  • You see my picture in the paper?

Что в переводе на грамматику из учебников выглядит как:

  • Did you see my picture in the paper?

И это совершенно не считается ошибкой, наоборот. Подробнее  о том, что еще недоговаривают англичане.


А во-вторых, герой Роберта Де Ниро все же делает ошибки, которые, с одной стороны, допустимы в речи, а с другой, выдают уровень образованности. Например:

  • Never had trouble dealing with nothing.

Двойное отрицание хоть и проникает в речь, все же считается недостаточно грамотным.


Давайте посмотрим на другие примеры разговорной грамматики. Некоторые из них окажутся разговорными, но при этом правильными. Другие будут считаться неграмотной речью.
